About our Council, its activities and Our Meetings         Latest News

We are a group of people with a genuine interest in the well-being of the Craiglockhart area of Edinburgh. Our chief role is representative, gathering the views of local people and relaying them to the City of Edinburgh Council and other bodies. We in turn are consulted by the Local Authority on matters affecting our neighbourhood. Full explanations of all aspects of Community Councils in Edinburgh are available from the City of Edinburgh Council's website

We hold open meetings every 2 months to report on matters of local interest and to receive feedback from the floor. These meetings are about what is happening in our community and are open to all Craiglockhart residents. If you are in doubt about the area we cover please check our
boundary map.

An Agenda is published prior to the meetings. An item for discussion can be added to the agenda by contacting our Chairman or our Secretary. There is also the opportunity to raise additional matters at our meetings. Our meetings are normally on the last Tuesday of the "odd" months.

Our next open meeting is our AGM on Tuesday, 28th May 2013

The venue is the Craiglockhart Campus of Edinburgh Napier University

The agenda will be available here about a week before
